Faculty of Economics and Agricultural Sciences is one of the pioneer faculties for undergraduate studies at Build Bright University (BBU) offering Bachelor degrees in the fields of economics, finance,agricultural production and marketing. The faculty provides a supportive environment in which students develop their knowledge and skills and thus, helping them to reach their academic and professional goals. It tries to balance education in economics, finance, agricultural production and marketing with personal development. Currently, the global economy is increasingly interconnected through trade (agriculture, industry and service sector) and financial linkages, changing standard of living, bringing greater employment opportunities and benefits; however, it has also complexities and risks. Therefore, promoting human resource in economics and agriculture sectors in order to solve and protect those complexities and risks are the most important things to make variable in economic stability such as inflation, unemployment rate, income growth, GDP and GNI growth, etc. for development and economic growth.
Students who study in Faculty of Economics and Agricultural Sciences at Build Bright University will have great opportunities to experience between theory and the real practical world and to expand knowledge for both future academic and professional careers. They will develop the analytical tools to be successful in the job market in competitive environment and gain a lot through the quality curriculum of all programs and highly qualified and experienced professors of the faculty. Students can also enjoy researching and reading many documents available in the library including internet facility. ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance
The program provides students to understand the theories of economics and finance, and help them practice what they have learned from the studyin the real world. The program also developsstudents’ ability to critically analyze economic events and their impact on financial markets. This program is designed for the students who are interested in both economics and finance. It develops solid skills in financial statement analysis along with a strong foundation in economics theory. Students learn about how organizations allocate and use finite resources like money, time and labor. Study on finance takes the above knowledge of the student to the next step, exploring how an organization’s money is managed. The main objective is to prepare students to apply principles of economics and finance in practice for a brighter career.
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Production and Marketing
The program provides students to understand theagricultural production that focuses on the plant and animal production. It also makes students understand about cultivating, planting, raising, harvesting and feedingfor plants and animals. It has focused on the discussion onprocessingand marketing of agricultural products startingfrom the field to the warehouse, then from warehouse to market.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant for Bachelor program must have high school diploma or equivalent degree from a duly recognized school.
- Must pass entrance exam controlled by MoYES and BBU’s committee
How to Apply
Build Bright University receives walk-in application from the applicant or his/her relatives/friends at any of the campuses of the university, and new students can register in the programs during the promotion time-period of the university. The prospective students must:
- Have transcript from any school/university/institution which is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
- Fill in admission form, specifying the program, faculty, major, etc. with signature and three copies 4 *6 cm. photographs
- Submit the application form and documents for admission along with payment of requisite tuition fee.
